This Clyde 1 radio presenter's lunch has garnered plenty of online attention... For entirely the wrong reasons.
Steven Mill was exposed by disgusted co-host Ewen Cameron, who snapped him eating his corned beef and banana sandwich on his break.
Ewen added in his scathing Tweet: "I’m so happy to have a Perspex screen between me and this minger."
But Steven is unrepentant in his controversial choice of scran, which he has "every other week"... Even though he admits his workmates are "horrified" and want him sacked.
He tells Glasgow Live: "It's honestly really tasty. In the same way you would have a mango chutney with patè/curry, pork and apples, turkey and cranberry. In the States they have fried chicken and honey/syrup. It's a tried and tested combo!"
Steven first came up with the ungodly filling fusion at his flat in lockdown last April, when he couldn't be bothered going to the shops.
"I thought it would be interesting. Sweet and savoury/salty, you know?" he said.
"My girlfriend thinks I'm off my rocker but she's used to it now. She hates corned beef and refuses point-blank to eat it."
He added: "Basically everything tastes better on a sandwich or a roll, even pies!"
For the bold adventurers who want to try it, Steven has revealed the perfect corned beef and banana sandwich: White bread – ideally a bloomer loaf – Lurpak butter, one banana and two slices of corned beef.
"Once you have tasted it, you'll never go back. Life is all about trying new food!" he said.
