Cluny to hold 'Sausage, Beer and Cider' festival over Bank Holiday weekend

A Newcastle bar is holding a 'Sausage, Beer and Cider' festival over the August bank holiday weekend.

The event is returning to the Cluny in Lime Street, Ouseburn from Saturday August 24 to Monday August 26.

The bar has teased details of what to expect, but says more will be revealed closer to the time.

There will be live music, DJs, speciality sausages, beer, cider and more.

Last year's festival featured 19 varieties of sausage, with both meat and vegan options available.

Speciality butchers from Gosforth, Seaton Deleval and Gateshead were among the suppliers, while visitors were offered advice on which drinks to pair with their bangers.
