'Clueless Tories Christmas contradictions sow confusion at a critical moment'

Confused about what to do over the festive season? You are not alone.

The Government hasn’t a clue either.

In the space of four days we have been told not to socialise, then ordered to take a lateral flow test if we are going a party and then advised to keep any gatherings small.

One minister at the Department for Business suggested large firms should not hold Christmas bashes only to be contradicted by another who said they should go ahead.

Boris Johnson is now saying we shouldn’t cancel any plans. We have had a blizzard of advice but absolutely no clarity.

One questions that must be examined is whether lockdown was a factor in Arthur’s death. The NSPCC and Childline both reported an increase in calls when schools were closed and restrictions were in force.

It is heartbreaking to think how many other children may have suffered during this time.
