'Clueless!' - Man United and Chelsea fans can't believe the Premier League Team of the Decade

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville's Premier League Team of the Decade has garnered some strong responses on social media.

With the past decade shining a light on some of the very best players, it was always going to be difficult for the Liverpool and Manchester United legends respectively to name a starting line-up that would please all supporters.

There was no debate when it came to the back five.

Both pundits selected Man United's David de Gea in between the sticks.

In front of the Spaniard is Pablo Zabaleta at right-back, Cesar Azpilicueta on the opposite flank with a central defensive partnership of Vincent Kompany and Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk.

This means Chelsea legend John Terry was overlooked - although Carragher felt the former defender wasn't at his best during the past decade.

Midfield is where things got rather interesting.

Carragher opted to include N'Golo Kante in his trio alongside Yaya Toure and David Silva.

However, Neville went for Edeh Hazard in midfield.

In attack Sergio Aguero makes both teams, with Carragher going for balance with Gareth Bale and Hazard either side as opposed to Neville who went for Harry Kane and Luis Suarez.

Carragher's team: de Gea; Zabaleta, Kompany, van Dijk, Azpilicueta; Kante, Toure, Silva; Bale, Aguero, Hazard

Neville's team: de Gea; Zabaleta, Kompany, van Dijk, Azpilicueta; Hazard, Toure, Silva; Kane, Aguero, Suarez

All of which has prompted a big reaction from some fans on Twitter...
