Out-of-favour Nottingham Forest striker Jason Cummings reportedly has a number of clubs ready to offer him a way out of the City Ground.
The Reds are understood to be open to interest in the Scot, who is one of a number of players whose futures at the club are in doubt.
And website Football League World say a return to his homeland is “looking likely” for Cummings.
They say the front man has received a number of offers from teams in the Scottish Premier League, adding, “a handful of English League One clubs have also made informal offers for the 23-year-old but those from north of the border are thought to be of a much more serious nature”.
Cummings made the switch to Forest from Hibernian two years ago but has struggled to make an impact on the banks of the Trent, notching up just 17 appearances and scoring three goals.
He spent last season on loan at Peterborough United and then Luton Town, having also had a previous loan spell at Rangers.
Cummings was not included in Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds squad for their recent training camp in Greece, and was involved for the Under-23s in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Cambridge United last week.
Head coach Lamouchi is looking to put his stamp on the squad ahead of a promotion push in the Championship.
Michael Hefele, Daryl Murphy, Liam Bridcutt and Luke Steele have all been told they are free to move on, while, in addition to Cummings, the club would also be willing to allow Zach Clough and Gboly Ariyibi to leave.
