Club Brugge star Simon Mignolet excites Liverpool FC fans with Manchester United post

Club Brugge goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has turned the heat up on tonight's Europa League last 32 second-leg tie with Manchester United by sharing a post and hashtagging Liverpool's famous slogan You'll never walk alone (YNWA).

Mignolet joined the Belgium side from Liverpool last year but still has a strong affection for the Merseyside outfit, who are the Reds' arch-rivals.

The 31-year-old is the starting goalkeeper for Brugge tonight but took time out pre-match to send a message to his Instagram followers.

He wrote : "Back in the North-West of England; looking forward to another European story with this #Team @clubbrugge @Europaleague #WeAreBruges #BluvnGoan #NoSweatNoGlory #YNWA."

This prompted a strong response from Liverpool fans wishing him well - but the message won't have gone down well with United fans.

One responded: "All of Liverpool is with you tonight."

Another fan said: "Mignolet once red, always red."

Another stated: "Let’s go Migs!!!! YNWA."

United have the advantage this evening at Old Trafford heading into the Europa League tie after a 1-1 draw at Club Brugge earlier this month. Anthony Martial netted an important away goal to cancel out Emmanuel Bonaventure's opener in Belgium.
