Clouds and rain for Manchester as heatwave comes to an end

The whole of Britain has been enjoying the heatwave this past week as some areas received a first-ever amber heat warning with temperatures reaching over 30C.

The start of next week will remain relatively hot with temperatures peaking at 25C throughout Monday, however, there will be less sun as clouds take over the sky for the majority of the afternoon with as temperatures fluctuate between 23C and 25C from 12:00 pm to 18:00 pm.

Monday evening will remain very warm as the temperature only dips to 19C.

Things begin to get more gloomy by Tuesday as the chance of precipitation for Manchester reaches 50% throughout most of the day.

Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to dip to around 18C as the sun will be covered by dark clouds for most of the day with showers scattered throughout the day.

The rain will persist throughout Tuesday evening and move into Wednesday with a 60% chance of precipitation in the afternoon.

Wednesday will also see a dramatic dip in temperature, reaching 14C at the lowest during the evening.

Thursday continues to see a decline in nice summer weather as rain persists throughout the day and heavy winds begin to pick up in the evening, reaching a speed of 22mph.

The heavy winds and rain from Thursday reach their peak on Friday with speeds of 30mph alongside more heavy rain and dark clouds - the temperature stays relatively stable throughout the day, fluctuating between 14C and 17C.

Saturday doesn't improve by much as the weekend sees a continuation of rain, dark clouds and gusts of wind. Temperatures reach as low as 14C an remain stable throughout the day and evening.
