Porsche and Third reunite for a special project
When the music label Kamikaze shut down, their young talents had to go their separate ways. This was a big disappointment to fans of the label, who wondered if they would get to see their heroes together again. Fortunately, they didn’t have to wait long to see their idols reunite.
Best friends Lapat Ngamchaweng (Third) and Sivakorn Adulsuttikul (Porsche) - two former Kamikaze favourites - are now part of 4Nologue’s Nine By Nine (9x9). This exciting new project is a group of nine handsome young performers. Soon, fans will be able to check them out on the TV drama, Luead Khon Kon Jang (Blood Isn’t Always Thicker Than Water). The guys are also planning to release an album and go on tour.
Before the drama airs in September, S Weekly caught up with 19-year-old Third and 20-year-old Porsche at 4Nologue to talk about their friendship and their new project.

How did you become close?
Porsche: At Kamikaze, I worked with Third several times. And our moms are close, so we’d often meet through them.
How would you describe each other?
Third: Porsche is determined. When he wants to do something, he works hard to achieve his goal. In our workshops, I’m always impressed at the progress he makes each week - especially in acting, which we’re both new to.
Porsche: Third is friendly, outgoing and adventurous. When he performs, he has his own style. His acting has improved as well. You should check him out in Blood Isn’t Always Thicker Than Water.
Can you tell us more about the new show?
Third: It’s a drama about conflicts in a big family, involving murder and a police investigation. The title is a twist on the idiom, blood is thicker than water. Because of the conflicts, their family bonds aren’t strong. The members of 9x9 play cousins.
What was it like to work on the show?
Third: We just filmed the opening scene, which introduces my character. I had a lot of dialogue and I felt under pressure because many experienced actors were in the scene with me. It was so difficult. And the time was limited. The director only allowed us five takes.
Was the director really tough?
Third: No, just very straightforward. We could speak to him whenever we had questions or if we were uncomfortable with anything.
Porsche: He likes natural acting. If I had a lot of things on my mind or felt stressed, he’d notice and stop filming. I had to focus and get into character so I could act naturally.

Were you intimidated by any of the other actors in 9x9?
Porsche: Tor Thanapob and J.J. Krissanapoom were a bit intimidating when we first met. Tor looked very serious and J.J. looked arrogant. But actually, they were really nice. Tor even gave us some tips about acting.
What’s the concept of your upcoming album?
Third: We’re still working on it. We told the producer our musical preferences to give him an idea of the kind of things we’d like to do. We both like hip-hop and R&B.
Who’s your favourite artist?
Third: Bruno Mars. I saw him play in Bangkok. He didn’t need any flamboyant outfits or make-up to catch the audience’s attention. He was able to mesmerise them with his singing and dancing.
Porsche: I like the Korean singers and rappers G-Dragon and Mino.
