A cloud computing firm has bolstered its portfolio of services after acquiring a data protection specialist.
Solihull-based CSI Group, which provides managed cloud and security enterprise services, has bought Tectrade which offers data protection and risk management products.
The acquisition of the Surrey company will further strengthen CSI's cloud services offering, enabling it to offer its clients advanced data protection capabilities and allow the group to expand into the US.

Simon Payne, chief executive of CSI Group, said: "Tectrade is a strong and strategic acquisition for us, providing additional depth of expertise in data protection which will deliver significant benefit to our clients.

CSI was advised on the acquisition by EY and Pinsent Masons.
