Cloud 9: Total Wipeout-style inflatable adventure park set to open in London

An inflatable adventure park like those featured in shows Total Wipeout and Ninja Warrior is set to open in London this winter.

Cloud 9 will include a giant obstacle course, an arena for sports such as dodgeball, football and basketball, a bungee run and a Nerf gun shooting gallery.

The new attraction will also have a “sweeper” or last-person-standing game and a gladiator duel. Visitors will also be able to play “dash and grab”, which is described as being similar to a game of human Hungry Hippos.

Games at Cloud 9, which will open at a yet-to-be-announced London location, will change regularly.

There will be licenced bars and cafés open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a number of private rooms for corporate events and parties, TV screens, music and other entertaining activities in the bar area.

The permanent site follows a pop-up trial experience in November 2017. Its founders Andrew Fairnington and Megan Thomas are launching a crowdfunding campaign to help get the project off the ground.

They said: “After an amazing response from the public at our pop-up, we are now incredibly excited that our vision will become a reality this winter when we open the first permanent Cloud 9 venue in the UK. It will be a spectacular destination for all ages, with a huge variety of activities, a fully stocked licensed bar and delicious café."

The minimum crowdfunding investment is £10. To invest, head to Crowdcube and register.
