Officers investigating the tragic discovery of a young man’s body in the Firth of Forth have released images of his clothing to try and identify him.
The grim find was made near Burntisland, Fife, at around 10.20am on Friday March 19 sparking a police probe.
Investigators previously appealed for help from members of the public to determine who the man is and the circumstances of his death.

They believe he was the same person seen acting in a ‘concerning manner’ on the Forth Road Bridge in the early hours of Tuesday, March 9.
Police Scotland have now released images of the clothes he was wearing as they continue to try and positively ID him.
The man is described as white, between 18 and 30-years-old, around 5ft 7in to 5ft 9in tall and of a slim build with short blonde to mousy brown hair.

He was wearing grey Lonsdale jogging bottoms, a grey hooded Saltrock jumper and blue Adidas high-top trainers.
An additional white and blue jacket was found on the Forth Road Bridge which officers believe may belong to the same man.
Detective Sergeant Conrad Musgrave, of Dunfermline CID, said: “Extensive enquiries have been conducted and we are appealing to members of the public for information to help trace the identity of the man involved.

“If you noticed anyone matching this description, either on the day of the incident or in the early hours of Tuesday, 9 March, please get in contact with officers.
“Police can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting incident number 0898 of Friday, 19 March, 2021.”
