Closed Anglesey restaurant to reopen as fine dining establishment

An Anglesey restaurant that closed last year will reopen as a new fine dining site.

Sullivan's restaurant in Rhosneigr has been taken on by the owners of Sandy Mount House, which reopened in 2018 after a £2m revamp.

Their executive chef Hefin Roberts will now be focused on opening the site next year.

Announcing the news, they said: "We can finally announce that in 2022 we are opening a fine dining restaurant right across the road from SMH(Sandy Mount House) under the new name Y Parlwr.

"You will still see Hef around in SMH but predominantly he will be in Y Parlwr focusing on all things fine dining.

"With this in mind SMH will be moving towards a more casual dining experience, more family/dog friendly and a menu which is a little less 'fine dining' and more focused on high quality, locally sourced produce."

They have added that the new building is big enough for "something else" and have asked customers for ideas on what to do with the remaining space.
