The Clondalkin swimming pool is set to re-open within weeks, South Dublin County Council have confirmed.
The pool has been plagued by problems since opening in 2008, and is currently set for repairs.
Over the past decade, the council has spent €238,952 on repairs in the Clondalkin Leisure Centre.
The current repairs are expected to cost €10,000, the council said.
A number of questions were submitted by local councillors at this month's Clondalkin Area Committee Meeting.

Mayor Mark Ward, councillor Emer Higgins and councillor Trevor Gilligan all submitted questions asking for an update on the pool.
In response to a question from councillor Gilligan, the council said: "Following a technical examination of Clondalkin swimming pool and report on costings, I can confirm immediate repair works will now commence on the pool and a new annual maintenance contract has been entered into by the Council.
"It is anticipated the pool will be operating at full capacity within a matter of weeks."
Councillor Gilligan said: "This has been an on-going issue for a long, long time. This comes at a critical time when many swimmers were getting fed up and considering going elsewhere.
"However, I’m happy now that these issues are laid to rest and hopefully the maintenance contract will mean SHOULD there be future issues, they will be rectified most urgently.
"I would like to thank the [council] management for their help in sorting the issues out."
