Clondalkin dumping sees 'hippy crack' canisters and household waste strewn across car park

A Dublin community tidy towns group were disgusted to find 'hippy crack' canisters and household waste including a blind strewn across a local car park.

Clondalkin Tidy Towns, who are known for their great work throughout Clondalkin Village and the local community, shared the shocking pictures last night.

And they revealed that a bicycle pump along the 9th lock of the Grand Canal was also vandalised and taken out of action for cyclists.

Blasting the "morons" who caused the damage, they revealed that the litter pictures were taken AFTER much of the illegal dumping was removed.

They said: "Recently you'll have seen the good ...now you can see the bad the ugly and also the vandalism

"All issues have been highlighted with locally elected representatives.

"Thankfully much of the illegal dumping has been removed from the "Steering Wheel" car park but unfortunately lots of litter remains (see photos).

"The owner of this car park is due to respond to #southdublincountycouncil with plans to keep the area clear of dumping & litter.

"The bicycle pump which is on 9th Lock was recently vandalised by a mindless element who have now deprived the Community of an invaluable and much used mechanism to help cyclists.

"Words cannot describe these infantile morons."
