Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare – review

Clockwork Princess is the third and final book of The Infernal Devices. Love, love, LOVE this book! I enjoyed the first two books, so obviously had to read the last one, and I wasn’t disappointed at all.

This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster – one minute I’d be happy and excited, the next I’d be crying because of the sad scenes (sad, but beautiful). It didn’t take me long to finish, because I couldn’t put it down! There were so many cliffhangers that I just wanted to keep on reading.

The story itself is all about the supernatural: shadow hunters, warlocks, werwolves, vampires and simple mundanes, and has been beautifully written by Cassandra Clare. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone (but due to some scenes, I would say for people mid-teenage and up).

Again, definitely read it if you can, and if you enjoy this trilogy, you’d enjoy another related series called The Mortal Instruments. It’s based on The Infernal Devices but is set 100 years after.
