Rangers have announced that Clive Tyldesley has become one of their in-house club TV commentators.
The veteran broadcaster was removed as ITV Sport's lead commentator last month in a decision he said left him "upset, annoyed and baffled."
He was replaced by talkSPORT voice Sam Matterface, although stayed with the channel in a secondary role.
Rangers confirmed that Tyldesley is joining their team as one of two commentators as they ramp up their in-house Rangers TV offering to provide fans with the best experience possible while matches remain behind closed doors, which will also include punditry appearances from ex-Gers bosses Graeme Souness and Walter Smith.
Steven Gerrard's side began the new Scottish Premiership season with a 1-0 win at Aberdeen on Saturday, and they will go to Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League this Thursday.
Their next league match comes against St Mirren at Ibrox this Sunday, when Tyldesley will be on commentary duties.
The 65-year-old released a video statement following his removal as ITV Sport's lead voice last month.
“To be clear, this is ITV’s decision, not mine. I’m upset, annoyed, baffled," he said.
“Quite a few people have been in touch with me asking me to comment. I’m not sure that would be a very good idea at the moment.
“I love this job, and it's gone. Why? I don't know. I do not know exactly why this decision has been taken.
“Already, I’ve got the producer of a broadcast that I am working on asking me if I’ve got any health issues – no, I have got no health issues – asking me if it’s something that I’ve done – no, there's nothing.
“I gather that one or two sites are reporting that I've been sacked. Well, I guess I have from one job, but I’ve done nothing wrong.”
