Clive Tyldesley set for Rangers TV return as commentator prepares for Ibrox role

Clive Tyldesley will be back on RangersTV this weekend.

The former ITV commentator is well-liked as the main man behind the mic on RangersTV with Ibrox supporters delighted he joined up in the summer.

He has been missing from the gantry over the last couple of months due to Covid-19 with Tyldesley feeling it would be wrong for him to travel so much, although he was allowed.

But now the club have confirmed he will be back with mic in his hand to commentate on Rangers' clash with Dundee United on Sunday.

Steven Gerrard's men host the Tannadice outfit at 3pm on Sunday and Tyldesley has still been keeping a close eye on things with regular updates on his Instagram account.

He’ll be joined by Kevin Thomson on co-commentary while Neil McCann will be in the studio alongside Emma Dodds.

They’ll also be joined by former Scotland women’s manager Shelley Kerr to analyse the match.

Back in December, Tyldesley took to social media to explain why he hadn't been at the Premiership leaders in a while.

He posted on Instagram: "Rangers fans, it wouldn't be right for me to be travelling north unnecessarily at the moment but I'll be back. Promise!"
