Clive Tyldesley joins Rangers TV as club name Walter Smith on all-star pundit team

Rangers have announced their punditry team for this season's television coverage, with Clive Tyldesley coming on board for commentary.

The legendary commentator was removed from his role as ITV 's main man over the summer, with the veteran admitting he was "baffled".

And it's now been announced that Tyldesley will be providing commentary for Rangers TV this season, and will be in the chair for the first home game of the season against St Mirren.

He'll share commentary duties with Ibrox favourite Tom Miller while Scottish football remains behind closed doors.

Rangers have also put together an all-star punditry line-up, with contributions from Graeme Souness and Walter Smith.

Neil McCann and Alex Rae will also provide analysis, with the team completed by Scotland women's team coach Shelley Kerr.

In addition, Nikola Katic will be a Rangers TV regular as he continues his recovery from injury.

Emma Dodds will be on hosting duties, and will be joined by Katic, McCann and Rae for Saturday's St Mirren game.

Director of commercial and marketing, James Bisgrove, said: "The RangersTV virtual match day experience aims to bring our loyal supporters as close as we possibly can to the live action at Ibrox.

"We’re incredibly excited to welcome some of the greatest names in the clubs history, alongside the highest calibre of broadcast professionals to our new look RangersTV team.

"In addition to the enhanced live coverage, Season Ticket Holders will also receive access to an exclusive match preview show and a ‘Lite’ digital copy of the Match Day programme."
