Clive Tyldesley in Rangers fess-up as he bins commentary quirk that was driving fans mad

Rangers commentator Clive Tyldesley has revealed he's made a key change to his notes and updated how he pronounces Glen Kamara moving forward.

The legendary announcer has become a smash-hit on Rangers TV this season with his one-liners endearing himself to the Ibrox support.

But the 66-year-old made a key change after speaking to the Finland international and checking out the reaction on social media among Rangers fans.

Speaking before the clash with Ross County, he said: "First things first, I owe you all an apology.

"I'm bringing the shutter down on Glen Camera. He is now officially Glen Kamara.

"I was sure I'd heard Rangers' favourite Finn being pronounced Camera by others who know Scottish football better than me.

"I have now checked with the man himself, I was wrong."

"So those have been superimposing pictures of Nikons and Canons on Glen's face, you can start looking for images of Chris Kamara to decorate him with today.

"I'm sorry, I'm still learning, and hey, everyone pronounces my name wrong anway."

Tyldesley has replaced cult figure Tom Miller as the Ibrox side's main commentary voice this season and has built-up an instant rapport with supporters.

The veteran was axed as ITV's main announcer earlier this summer and Rangers moved quick to offer him the chance to work on their club channel with supporters unable to attend games.
