Jan. 05--The Clippers have had practices for two of the last three days after going nearly a month-long stretch without practicing while playing at least every other day.
"These practices are too much," Clippers' center DeAndre Jordan joked before Sunday's session. "I'm not used to this."
The Clippers, who are in the midst of a nine-game home stretch, host the Atlanta Hawks on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Staples Center.
The Clippers have won four of their last five games, including three games in a row against Utah, New York and Philadelphia.
When the Clippers played at Atlanta on Dec. 23, the Hawks won, 107-104. In that game, the Hawks outshot the Clippers from the field, 45% to 40%, and from beyond the three-point line, 52% to 38%.
The Hawks (25-8) are in first place in the Eastern Conference, while the Clippers (23-11) are in sixth place in the West. The Hawks have won four games in a row, and 18 of their last 20.
"All of them are shooters," Chris Paul said of the Hawks. "Paul Millsap has been unbelievable. [Jeff] Teague has been great since he's been back. They're playing with a lot of confidence right now and everybody knows their role."
Atlanta has lost its last three games on the road against the Clippers, most recently falling 109-108 last March 8.
