Here’s a neat story that came to light as a result of a deal during the 2021 NBA trade deadline: Rajon Rondo is now a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Wait, that’s not the neat part. He’s now teammates with guard Terance Mann, now in his second season after the Clips drafted him out of Florida State in 2019. And as Mann told the media — and showed them on Zoom — he’s been carrying a Rondo card in his wallet since middle school, and after he made a travel team the day he received it, he thought of it as a good-luck charm.
And now they’re teammates! How cool is that?
