Dec. 29--It's a good thing the Clippers still have two of their Big Three left in point guard Chris Paul and center DeAndre Jordan.
With the third member of the trio -- Blake Griffin -- out because of a partially torn left quadriceps tendon, Paul and Jordan were the catalysts during the Clippers' 108-91 victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday night at the Verizon Center.
Paul had 23 points, seven assists and five rebounds and Jordan had a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Neither played in the fourth quarter of the blowout.
Paul Pierce started at power forward in place of Josh Smith, who started in place of the injured Griffin on Saturday night in Salt Lake City.
Pierce, who spent last season playing for the Wizards, had nine points.
"Until Blake is back, we're just going to keep going with that lineup against teams," Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said before the game. "They [the Wizards] play small most of the time."
Jamal Crawford (21 points on nine-for-13 shooting) and Wesley Johnson (14 points) did their part to help the Clippers win their third consecutive game.
The Wizards also were short-handed, playing without Bradley Beal (injured fibula), Alan Anderson (ankle), Drew Gooden (calf), Gary Neal (quad) and Nene (calf).
