The Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic have put the Clippers in this position with their gritty play over the last two games, as they have forced their 4th straight Game 7 in the Jokic Era.
As for the Clippers, getting it done hasn’t been the fault of their two stars. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have played well individually, but they have been unable to play well as a group, with key players like Patrick Beverley, Montrezl Harrell, and Lou Williams having disappointing stretches. The winner of tonight’s games advances to the Western Conference Finals, which start Friday night.
