Dec. 11--The Clippers have a lot of scorers and, on any given night, whose turn it is to score big is going to fluctuate.
In Wednesday's 103-96 win over the Indiana Pacers, the Clippers finished with six players in double figures. Jamal Crawford had 18 points on seven for 12 shooting off the bench, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin each had 17 points, J.J. Redick had 16 points, DeAndre Jordan had 12 points and Matt Barnes added 11 points.
"What makes us good is that no one really cares," Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said. "Blake [Griffin] and CP [Chris Paul] and Jamal [Crawford] are usually going to score the bulk of the points with JJ [Redick], but we have one of those teams that they really don't care per night.
"If it's JJ's night, they allow it to be JJ's night. If it's Blake's night, everybody gets out of his way and allows it to be Blake's night. Tonight it was really no one's night. It was everyone's night as far as sharing the ball, which is good."
The Clippers finished with 25 assists on 42 field goals. They're averaging the fifth-most assists in the league at 24.7 a game.
The Clippers have won nine games in a row and 11 of their last 12. During that run, there's been a constant theme -- the team is moving the ball and trusting in one another.
"We don't care who scores," said Crawford. "If a guy is on a roll, of course we'll keep riding him. But we have great balance. All we need is to continue to do the right thing and keep building good habits."
