Nov. 25--The Clippers dealt the Charlotte Hornets their sixth consecutive loss Monday, 113-92, in the second game of a back-to-back set.
The victory, accomplished after five ties and five lead changes, was the Clippers' third in four games on their current seven-game trip.
Blake Griffin came close to a triple-double, finishing with 22 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists. By halftime Monday, Griffin had equaled his point total (12) and doubled his rebound total (eight) in Sunday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Clippers shot 50% from the field to Charlotte's 42.5%, and were much better from three-point range, 46.9% (15 for 32) to 10% (two for 20). They even won the rebounding battle, 43-33.
Chris Paul had 22 points and 15 assists. Jamal Crawford scored 21 points and made five of eight three-point shots. And DeAndre Jordan had 11 points and 12 rebounds.
The game featured a couple of Clippers milestones. Crawford got his 1,723rd career three-pointer, making him 10th in all-time list. And Paul recorded his 6,241st career assist, passing Jerry West for 25th all-time.
Reggie Bullock made his first NBA start and finished with three points on one-for-three shooting with two rebounds. Hedo Turkoglu made a nice contribution off the bench with 10 points on four-for-eight shooting.
The Clippers' next game is Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons.
