The Celtics have responded to a three-game losing streak with back-to-back wins, but they’ll face a much tougher task on Tuesday night. The Clippers, meanwhile, are coming off a 105-100 loss in Milwaukee, and have been inconsistent as we near the All-Star break.
Still, it’s hard to bet against Los Angeles in this spot. The Clippers are the healthier team and have a top-three offense. The Clippers’ adjusted net rating puts them almost exactly five points ahead of the Celtics per 100 possessions. I’m trusting the numbers and taking Clippers -4.5.
