It's not something you expect to see every day - but runaway cows broke free in the early hours of the morning in East Kilbride.
The bizarre sight, where the herd ran towards the McDonald's branch on the Queensway from the outskirts of the town at 3am on Saturday morning.
They split up with 10 cows at the Showpark in The Village area and 10 more in the Stewartfield Crescent.
Cops state that they were in contact with local farmers and the cattle were collected from both locations at around 5am.
