Cliftonville reveal 'little secret' about club's new away shirt

Cliftonville have revealed a "little secret" about the club's new away jersey.

The North Belfast side launched the yellow kit last Wednesday before announcing record overnight sales.

It seems to be going down a treat with fans who have been sharing pictures of themselves wearing the shirt as part of their #RedArmyPlayApart project.

And now the Solitude club has revealed a unique feature to every jersey - and it's all to do with the darker yellow strokes.

"One week since Cliftonville’s new Away Shirt was launched to acclaim from fans around the world, we're asking a very simple question to those whose replicas have been delivered – have you noticed anything distinctive about it yet?" the club said on their website.

"Though it may not be immediately obvious at first glance, examination of launch pictures posted here on  cliftonvillefc.net  and the images being shared by supporters on social media may have helped the more eagle-eyed members of the Red Army to discern that no two jerseys are identical.

"It all comes down to the darker yellow strokes and distinguishing green flecks arbitrarily positioned across the shirt, meaning that yours will differ slightly to that of a fellow fan, friend or family member – as households that have taken receipt of more than one replica will no doubt now be racing to inspect."
