Cliftonville announce signing of Northern Ireland youth international

Cliftonville have completed the loan signing of Eoin Teggart.

The 18-year-old Northern Ireland youth international has joined the Reds from EFL League One club Portsmouth.

It is a return to familiar ground for Teggart who joined Pompey from Cliftonville's Academy back in 2018.

The 18-year-old attacker has joined the North Belfast club until the end of the season.

Teggart follows the arrivals of Rory Hale and Aaron McCarey who have also joined Cliftonville in this transfer window.

The teenager - who has already featured for Portsmouth's first team - spent part of this season on-loan with Southern League side Gosport Borough along with former Portadown midfielder Gerard Storey.

Teggart trained with his new Cliftonville teammates on Thursday evening with the club confirming he will wear the number 36 shirt at Solitude - the same number he wears at Portsmouth.
