Clevid Dikamona confirms Hearts exit in social media post

Clevid Dikamona has confirmed his time at Tynecastle is over in an emotional social media post.

The French defender agreed to terminate his Hearts deal after making 36 appearances since being signed by Craig Levein in 2018.

Dikamona thanked the fans for their support in a post on Twitter.

The 29-year-old tweeted: "I cannot remain silent, thank you for all the love you gave me during these two seasons and since I returned to France.

"I never thought I would end this experience this way but it is life who decided so…

"In the life of a club there an institution, you fans and players. The institution and the fans stay forever but unfortunately the players all sign, play and leave one day.

"I would have liked to wear this New Jersey but today the most important is the institution and you fans so fight for your club and because you and only you can continue to make it live and succeed."

Dikamona had hoped to remain at Tynecastle when the lockdown was over, but his tweet appears to have confirmed that he has played his last game for the Jambos.
