We're now three days out from this year's Late Late Toy Show, which means excitement is building around the country ahead of the big night.
And one fan has ramped up public anticipation by pointing out an extra-special feature of this year's programme.
Social distancing might have put an end to live Late Late audiences, but looked at another way that means we all have a chance to be in the audience for a Toy Show like none that have come before.
So for the optimists among us – including Twitter user Paul Berney – that means we're all in it together ahead of a night that host Ryan Tubridy has promised will be "epic".
As Paul wrote on Twitter: "For the first time ever, I'm gonna be at the Toy Show with everyone else.
"I can't wait, I'm so excited!" he said, adding: "It's been a horrible year, but the Toy Show is the feel-good tonic we need."
It's hard to disagree with Paul's assessment, especially after the release of more than one heartwarming Toy Show advert depicting fans watching the show in a Covid-19 era.
As for Tubridy himself, the Dubliner is in a state of high excitement ahead of Friday night, announcing on radio this week that he's wearing his famous Christmas jumpers every day to get in the mood.
The Toy Show, Tubs says, always brings out his inner "Christmas Eve child", and it's hard to blame him – presenting the show is a toy-lover's dream.
In a TV ad yesterday, the 47-year-old announced that he is "so ridiculously excited" about the show.
"The toys are bigger and brighter and better than ever before," he said.
"The kids are from all over Ireland – in fact, they're from all over the planet earth.
"It's going to be so much fun."
