Airport chaos is being reported across the world, including Dublin where long queues just to get inside the terminal are causing some passengers to miss flights.
More than 1,000 people missed their flights from Dublin Airport on Sunday, with security staff shortages being blamed.
Further queues are being reported on Tuesday for the third consecutive day.

Holidaymakers looking to cut the amount of time they spend at airports could use a clever hack to ensure their checked-in luggage is among the first out of the baggage carousel.
Many of us have faced the dreaded queue at the luggage carousel, where it seems everyone else's suitcases are coming out before yours.
However, there is a cheeky solution which involves a sticker that you can add to your luggage.
Anyone who doesn't want to wait longer than they need to can ask for a 'fragile' sticker before handing their luggage over to check-in staff.
According to new.com.au this can, in theory, speed up your wait time.
This is because luggage tagged as being fragile will go into the plane last, which means it comes out the other side first, which equals less time to wait at the dreaded carousel.
Should you want to double your chances of getting out of the airport first, then there's something else you can do. Thomas Lo Sciuto, a ramp worker and gate agent at a regional airport in the US, told Quora that you should check-in last.
He said: "Bags will always be loaded front to back on the bag carts so if you check in last your bags will be in the last bag cart."
