Cleveland Indians completely roasted Colin Cowherd after Baker Mayfield chugged a beer

From the moment the Cleveland Browns drafted Baker Mayfield, the Heisman Trophy winner and then-rookie quarterback had a major critic in Fox Sports personality Colin Cowherd.

No matter what Mayfield did, Cowherd would stubbornly turn that into a cause to rip the Browns quarterback. Mayfield even confronted Cowherd’s irrational criticism in person and made the radio personality look beyond clueless.

So, the Cleveland Indians knew what was going to happen come Monday’s The Herd once Mayfield was seen shotgunning a beer to the delight of Indians fans. They just knew that Cowherd was going to say that the moment reflected Mayfield’s immaturity and lack of commitment. So, well, the Indians beat Cowherd to the punch.

They shared the video with a very Cowherd-esque quote and poked fun at Aaron Rodgers’ own beer-chugging struggles in the process. For a tweet from an official brand account, Twitter trolling doesn’t get much better than that.

Cowherd somewhat responded to the tweet 28,000 retweets later. He quote-retweeted the video without providing any comment (which apparently is a thing). The Indians called him out for that too.

Sorry, Colin. Cleveland has this round won.
