Led by “voice of the Browns” Jim Donovan, many Cleveland dignitaries and sports figures joined together for a rally celebrating the city’s selection as the host of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Browns GM John Dorsey and Pro Bowl CB Denzel Ward were on hand, as was Browns executive VP JW Johnson, the man behind the successful bid. Scores of fans crowded into the downtown area in and around Public Square.
Nathan Zegura from Cleveland Browns Daily hosted a video which nicely highlights the sun-soaked afternoon celebrating the major win for the city.
“The true birthplace of football,” Zegura enthused halfway through the video. He noted the dream of the players being selected in Cleveland to end their football legacies an hour down the road in Canton at the Pro Football Hall of Game.
