When nearly everyone is healthy it can be tough for NFL teams to figure out which players on the 53-man active roster are inactive on game days. That is certainly true for the Cleveland Browns heading into the Week 1 contest with the Tennessee Titans.
It’s a welcome problem for coach Freddie Kitchens. With rookie LB Sione Takitaki the only player not a full-go on the weekly injury report, Kitchens and his staff had some tough decisions to make to fill out the 45-man game roster.
They chose to keep Takitaki inactive, a prudent decision as the rookie is not a projected starter and the team has depth at LB.
The other inactives include WR Taywan Taylor, signed by the Browns last week after being cut by this week’s foe, the Titans:
