Cleveland Browns roster cuts: here’s who has been released

The Cleveland Browns and GM John Dorsey executed a series of roster moves to get to the 53-player deadline at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

First, CB Phillip Gaines was placed on injured reserve with a concussion.

Offensive lineman Kyle Kalis and FB Joe Kerridge were waived with injury designation, which makes them eligible to get added to the Browns IR once they clear waivers.

Four vested veterans had their contracts terminated. These players are instantly free to sign with any other NFL team and not subject to waiver claims:
