Clemson cornerback Trayvon Mullen would love to play for the Texans

The pipeline between Clemson and H-Town continues to flow.

Sunday afternoon at the NFL combine in Indianapolis, Clemson Tigers cornerback Trayvon Mullen stated he would love to play for the Houston Texans, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.

The Texans already have notable Tigers on the roster in All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins, Pro Bowl quarterback Deshaun Watson, and coach Bill O’Brien favorite, nose tackle D.J. Reader.

What Mullen could add as a cornerback for the Texans, who need to get younger at that position, is a 6-1, 199-pound defender with a 75-inch wingspan. He could be the answer to defending Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton after all.

Mullen won’t go in the first round, but he is a prospect Houston may want to keep in mind for any one of their remaining picks in the top-100.
