ClearSky Logic rebrands and reshuffles senior team following pandemic pivot

ClearSky Logic has appointed a new board member, created a new leadership structure and rebranded, following an 80% increase in income from last year.

The Edinburgh-based business was founded in 2018 and has grown by helping companies develop digital tools and tailored technology solutions.

It is now positioning itself as a “digital transformation specialist", following a rebrand and website update.

The company has increased its team from seven to 24 full time employees to help handle the demand for its services, which include managing digital transformation projects.

ClearSky claims it is on course to turn over £2.1m in the year ahead.

The group has also appointed Tino Nombro to its board, while co-founders Darren Auld and Phil Telfer will be given a more specific remit.

Auld will now be the chief executive, concentrating on the company’s growth strategy, while Telfer will be the chief technology officer, leading the technical direction of the business.

A new senior management team has also been created, with Adam Steen now head of operations and Jane Fiddes leading marketing and account management.

Co-founder Auld said: “It’s been a challenging period for everyone, but we’re proud of the work we’ve done to support other businesses, as well as seeing our own business grow remarkably in a relatively short space of time.”

Co-founder Telfer added: “The pandemic has placed a huge emphasis on the importance of having effective online systems and platforms in place and we’ve been able to help businesses transform their digital offering and make that transition quickly.”

The company, which lists Together Energy, Mitsubishi and Ittria among its clients, has expanded from serving the energy sector to cover a wider range of industries.
