As much as we'd all love to have gorgeously clean car interiors at all times, the realities of life can leave you with all sorts of stains and spills, especially if you've got kids.
With this in mind, a clever cleaning guru has revealed how they get their car seats looking like new once more, even if they've ended up looking more than a little bit grubby.
In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, a homecare whizz has shared the one simple household item she swears by when it comes to freshening up her mucky car seats, and you'll most likely already have one knocking about in your kitchen cupboard.
In the handy clip, the home and cleaning expert, who goes by the username @cleanfreakpro, could be seen squeezing out the contents of a laundry detergent capsule into a bowl of warm water.
She then dipped a couple of microfibre clothes into the mixture, and tied these around a pan lid, using the covered lid as a makeshift cleaning instrument.
Gripping the handle tightly, she swept the lid thoroughly all over her seats, before using the cloths to scrub between the various crevices. By the end of the instructive clip, the car seats looked brand new once more, any grubby marks wiped clean away.
A previous viral vid, this time from TikTok content creator @tipsandtrickswithq, showed that the exact same method could be used for sofas and other types of living room upholstery.
They advised: "This had my whole entire house smelling amazing. I'm definitely going to keep doing this life hack, my couch looks so good!"
