Cleaning fan shares £1 product that will banish mould from your ceiling

Mould on your bathroom ceiling can be an absolute nightmare to get rid of as it is not exactly in the most accessible spot for many of us. Thankfully, a cleaning expert has shared a clip on TikTok which sees the dark spots of mould disappear in just seconds, and the best part of all is that this hack will only set you back a pound so it is a real no brainer.

Plus, all you need for the genius hack to take shape is a bottle of Flash multi-purpose spray bleach and a mop which can reach your bathroom ceiling.

This can then be scrubbed away in seconds along with the mould (@s.foodss/TikTok)

The clever cleaning hack was shown in a video with a caption which reads: "Hack to cleaning mould off ceilings."

In the clip, shared by @s.foodss, who can normally be found posting food related content, the creator sprays a generous amount of Flash bleach across their ceiling which is littered with specks of mould.

From there, the savvy cleaner then grabs a mop which has a flat sponge so she can use it for moments like this to scrub the ceiling.

Within just a few seconds, the ceiling is free of the nasty mould which had been covering it.

You can pick up the Flash bleach spray from most stores and the beauty of this hack is that it will barely set you back.

While bleach is great at keeping mould at bay, if you suspect a deeper problem with mould that returns time and time again, you need to seek professional help to find the root cause.

You also should be wary not to use too much bleach as it could damage the walls if too much of it is used.

Mould and damp can be bad for your health and the NHS states it can lead to skin rashes and red eyes if too much is inhaled so be wary and careful when trying to get rid of it from your home.
