Silva on the fight’s key moment

“I’ve been training this for a long time. I gave him a couple punches and went for the rear-naked choke. I’m a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, and that’s what I showed tonight.”

Silva on starting to get some respect

“I’ve beaten guys like Leon Edwards and Nordine Taleb. Everybody knows I’m the real deal. I’m one of the best in the world and now 5-0 in the UFC.”

Silva on what’s next

“I want to fight a top-ranked opponent next. I deserve someone in the top 10.  … I’ve beaten a lot of big names and I want to stay busy. I was away from my family for a while. Now I want to relax a bit, but I’d love to fight in December.”
