A West Lothian schoolgirl reported missing earlier this week has been traced.
Claudia Wark (14) left an address on Badger Walk in East Calder at around 8am on Tuesday and, with her whereabouts unknown, the alarm was raised. She was wearing her school uniform at the time.
Police said she had links to Livingston, Broxburn, Tranent and the Stenhouse, Leith, Corstorphone and South Gyle areas of Edinburgh.
A public appeal was put out on Wednesday evening, however officers confirmed a short time later that she had been traced safe and well in Livingston.
They were keen to thank the public for their assistance.
