This story is about Claude the dog who wears a beret and red jumper, and his best friend, Sir Bobblysock. I like Sir Bobblysock because he is small and smells kind of like cheese!
Claude goes shopping to the best shop in the world and buys lots and lots of berets. He then goes with Sir Bobblysock to the Art gallery – my favourite bit is when he sees some very rude sculptures!
Claude saves the day by crashing into a robber and becomes a hero. Sir Bobblysock is poorly in Part 2, which involves a visit to Dr Achinbum who has a twirly moustache and big curly hair. This book is full of great drawings which will make you smile. I read it to my Mum and she loved the story.
