Claude Can Now Help You Track Projects and Fix Issues

Anthropic has released an update to Claude. The company announced on X that Claude can now connect directly to Notion and Linear through its Multi-Channel Platform (MCP). This means you can ask Claude to read or update project documentation, handle tickets, and track progress without leaving the chat.

With this integration, Claude can now participate in workspaces, helping you stay on top of projects and issues in real-time. It also allows you to connect your Notion or Linear accounts and let Claude handle updates, reminders, and changes across both platforms.

Moreover, Anthropic announced that it will start rolling out weekly usage limits for Claude Pro and Max subscribers starting August 28. According to the company, the changes are aimed at managing costs and ensuring fair access, while impacting less than 5% of current subscribers.

Anthropic cited growing demand for Claude Code, especially among Max Plan users, as a key reason behind the change. Some users have been running Claude Code continuously in the background, leading to unusually high resource usage. In one instance, a user reportedly generated usage worth tens of thousands of dollars on a $200 subscription plan.

Along with that, the company also noted that a small number of users have been violating its policies by reselling or sharing accounts, which affects service quality for others. To tackle this, the new weekly limits are designed to curb such misuse.

For Max users who still want to access higher limits, Anthropic will allow additional usage to be purchased at standard API rates. Besides, the company is also inviting feedback from power users to help shape future updates to Claude Code access.
