The ECHO has taken a look inside the cheapest house for sale in Liverpool right now.

The terraced house is on Lind Street in Walton , has two bedrooms and one bathroom, and is on the market for £55,000.

The property is the perfect opportunity for an investor or a first time buyer looking for a renovation project. It's near the busy County Road , which has a number of shops and pubs, and is also within a mile of two train stations - Kirkdale and Bank Hall.

The house is a classic two-up-two-down, with the front door opening into a reception room and a compact kitchen to the rear.

Three homes were sold on Lind Street in 2020, according to Rightmove, going for £50,000, £60,000 and £70,000 respectively.

In Walton overall, properties sold for an average of £121,453 over the last year, a 4% uplift on the previous 12 months and 16% higher than the 2007 peak. Terraced homes went for £108,974.
