Classic Nottingham Forest shirt ranked second worst in Premier League - EVER!

Nottingham Forest's classic 1995-97 away shirt has been ranked the second worst in Premier League history, by FourFourTwo.

The yellow, red and navy blue Umbro masterpiece complete with an over-sized striped collar and a mock undershirt was beaten only by Chelsea's hideous orange and grey patchwork jersey.

Worn by such Forest icons as Stuart Pearce and Bryan Roy during two seasons where the Reds placed ninth and last in the Premier League, the shirt has remained a memorable one among City Ground fans.

"A toddler’s crayon rampage," is how FourFourTwo's Nick Moore, who compiled the list, described it.

"A dropped pie, an old man’s knee, a malfunctioning bile duct, a crashed magician’s van leading to several fatalities – all spring to mind while gazing upon this vileness, a stoned sixth form design project that should have been strangled at birth. Extraordinary."

What are Nottingham Forest's chances of signing Jack Colback permanently from Newcastle United this summer?

The list offered no compliments to Umbro's mid-nineties design inspiration, with the sportswear company having to own up to each of the top three, with Chelsea's winner being a recoloured version of Forest's home shirt from the same season.
