Classic Football Shirts pop-up shop opens at Albert Dock with largest collection in the world

A brand new store has popped-up at the Albert Dock - but it’s going to be around for one month only.

Classic Football Shirts is home to one of the world’s largest collections of rare, retro and vintage football shirts and it is open from 11am on Friday, May 3.

Founded in 2006 by friends Matt Dale and Doug Brierton who set up the company as students, Classic Football Shirts has grown to now carry more than 30,000 individual items.

All shirts are original and official, dating from the seasons in which they were worn, and the pricing is relative to their rarity, condition, size and availability.

Ranges include Premier League clubs, UK national clubs, European and international leagues, plus official match-worn tops issued to or worn by national and international players, including Gerrard, Fowler, Gascoigne and Rooney amongst many others.

Fans can also find past season shirts to add to their collections, as well as specific player’s shirts from legendary games, and hard-to-come-by rare items.
