A classic sports car caught alight on a busy Swansea street on Sunday morning.
The blaze broke out in the Ford Capri's engine just before 11.30am on Sunday, July 18, on Uplands Crescent, in the Uplands area of the city.
A fire crew from Swansea arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames, while police were also in attendance.
It is understood that the fire was "accidental" - with possible causes including a mechanical fault or overheating.
The 2 litre engine sports car, which looked to be in pristine condition, was originally made in 1984. Models similar to the one that caught fire often fetch in excess of £12,000 online.
Firefighters said they were able to extinguish the fire within around 15 minutes.
While the rest of the car appeared to escaped any damage. However, replacing any damaged engine parts could prove difficult and costly given the vehicle's rare status.
Eyewitnesses said a man at the scene, thought to be the car's owner, was seen "shaking" in the aftermath.
A spokeswoman for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call at 11.25am on Sunday to a vehicle fire that was confined to the car's engine.
"We sent one crew from Swansea central who used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Police were also in attendance.
"It was an accidental fire with the engine alight so it could have been a mechanical fault or overheating. The crew left the scene at 11.40am."
