Frank Lampard is already a firm fans' favourite at Chelsea - and he has underlined that status today (Friday) with his latest comments on Jose Mourinho and Tottenham.
The Chelsea head coach has been speaking about his former manager taking on the role of head coach at Tottenham this week, having been appointed to replace Mauricio Pochettino in the hotseat in north London.
And while Lampard has said he has shared a couple of messages with Mourinho to congratulate his former boss, he has also delivered his verdict on whether he would ever consider doing the same and joining the Blues' rivals Tottenham.
"That is only his decision and you make that as you go. Whether fans judge you or not is out of your hands. We have a tribal instinct," he said.
"I can firmly say no, and you can replay that in 10 years. It wouldn't happen. We have to respect his right to work. I played here for 13 years, I am very proud to manage this club. I have friends who are Tottenham fans, it is not on my list."
Unsurprisingly, his comments have gone down well with some Chelsea fans, after a number of Blues supporters were critical of Mourinho for making the move earlier this week.
