Class sent home from Dublin primary school after student tests positive for Covid-19

A student at a primary school in Dublin has tested positive for Covid-19.

The class was sent home after the case was confirmed, but the pupil did not catch the virus at school.

The principal of the school in question confirmed the positive test to 'Today With Claire Byrne' on RTE Radio One.

The students were sent home as a precaution and in line with Government health advice.
